Low-Temperature Steam Crystallizer


For the concentration and drying requirements of ultra-high concentration mother liquor in industrial fields, this system combines low-temperature evaporation technology with a self-adaptive scraper structure. Under vacuum negative pressure conditions (around -95 kPa), a spiral stirring scraper system is used to specifically treat high-salinity, high boiling point elevation, and high-viscosity materials, achieving solid-liquid separation and crystallization drying.


An innovative heat exchange structure and intelligent dynamic interlock control enable material crystallization while minimizing energy consumption, helping enterprises reduce energy use.

 

Application Fields

1. Treatment of high-concentration, heat-sensitive active substances, such as enzymes, antibiotics, vitamins, and probiotics (high temperatures may cause protein denaturation or antibiotic deactivation)

2. High-viscosity / easily crystallizing mother liquor, such as polysaccharides and organic acids (high temperatures may increase viscosity or cause coking and blockage)

一、Core Principle

High vacuum (-90 to -98 kPa) lowers the boiling point of water to 37–45°C → low-temperature heating evaporation → concentration to supersaturation and crystallization → scraper prevents scaling → vapor condensation and reuse → solid-liquid separation and discharge.


二、Complete Working Process

1. Vacuum feeding + low temperature

A vacuum pump creates -90 to -98 kPa, and wastewater is drawn into the evaporator by negative pressure; the boiling point is reduced to 37–45°C.

2. Low-temperature heating evaporation

Steam jacket heating causes the solution to boil at 37–45°C, generating secondary vapor; the vapor is purified by a spiral separator and condensed into distilled water(Reusable).

3. Concentration → supersaturation → crystallization

Continuous evaporation increases concentration beyond solubility, leading to crystallization; the material transitions from liquid → slurry → solid.

4. Forced scraping to prevent scaling

Built-in forward and reverse spiral scrapers with adaptive blades continuously clean the wall, preventing fouling and ensuring heat transfer efficiency.

5. Automatic discharge + circulation

When crystals/dry residue reach the set moisture content (usually <20%), automatic discharge occurs; the mother liquor is recycled until volume reduction targets are met.
