2.1 Ozone/Ultrasonic method
Ultrasonic can effectively degrade refractory organic pollutants in wastewater. Combined use of ultrasonic and ozone can improve the efficiency of organic matter degradation and reduce operating costs. In 1976, DAHI had already discovered that ultrasound could enhance the treatment of ozone wastewater. When he used 20kHz ultrasound to enhance ozone oxidation to treat the effluent from a biological sewage treatment plant, he found that this technology could reduce the amount of ozone added by 50%.
2.2 Ozone/biological activated carbon adsorption method
Ozone biological activated carbon process (O3-BAC) is a process that integrates ozone chemical oxidation with activated carbon physical, chemical adsorption and biological oxidation degradation technology. The process has the characteristics of low treatment cost, high organic matter removal efficiency and stable effect.
When raw water is oxidized by ozone, it can decompose macromolecular organic matter into small molecular organic matter, improve the biodegradability of organic matter and provide sufficient oxygen, so that these organic matter are more easily adsorbed by activated carbon, and the adsorbed organic matter provides nutrition for maintaining the life activities of microorganisms in the carbon bed. At the same time, due to sufficient oxygen supply, aerobic microorganisms multiply and grow into biofilms on the surface of activated carbon to degrade the adsorbed small molecules of organic matter. This allows the adsorption of activated carbon and microbial degradation on the carbon bed to be carried out at the same time, thus greatly extending the working cycle and efficiency of activated carbon.
3.1 Treatment of pharmaceutical wastewater

3.2 Treatment of printing and dyeing wastewater

3.3 Treatment of phenolic wastewater

The treatment of phenol-containing wastewater is one of the urgent problems to be solved. The research shows that the phenol content of coke plant wastewater is 227mg/L, pH value is 7.3-7.6, and water temperature is 13-40C, after ozone oxidation treatment, the phenol content of water is reduced by 98%.
3.4 Treatment of landfill leachate
Landfill leachate is a highly polluting organic wastewater with high pollutant content, of which there are 77 kinds of organic pollutants, including 5 kinds of carcinogens and 5 kinds of carcinogens, which are listed in the "blacklist" of environmental priority control pollutants in China. Moreover, the landfill leachate will cause great pollution to the surrounding environment, landfill soil layer and groundwater. Feng Xudong et al. studied the treatment of landfill leachate by using bio-ozone oxidation technology. The experiment showed that the CODOF value of biological treatment effluent of landfill leachate could be effectively reduced after ozone oxidation. After ozonation, the biodegradability of wastewater from biological treatment of landfill leachate has an extreme value with the increase of oxidation time, and the combined bioozone-biological technology can be used to treat landfill leachate in combination with the economy of treatment.
